Cheetah Transportation Systems ("Cheetah", "we", "us") operates this website at cheetahtrucking.com. This policy explains what information the site collects and what we do with it. We collect as little as possible: this site has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics trackers, and it sets no cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We do not sell personal data, and we do not process personal data for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Information you send us
If you use a contact or quote form, we receive what you type: typically your name, company, email address, phone number, and details about your shipment or enquiry. Form submissions are relayed by Web3Forms, a form delivery service, and arrive as email in our company mailbox (info@cheetahtrucking.com). They are not stored in any database on this website. We use what you send us to respond to you, to provide and price the services you ask about, to keep business records, and for related follow-up about your enquiry. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone. Like most businesses, we use service providers (form delivery, email, hosting, security filtering) that process this information on our behalf.
Driver applications
The Apply Now links take you to IntelliApp, a driver application platform operated by Tenstreet, LLC. Any information you enter there is collected and processed under Tenstreet's own privacy policy, which is linked from their application pages.
Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard access logs (the IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security monitoring and troubleshooting. The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the United States. Web fonts are served from our own server, with one exception: the site loads its display typeface from Adobe Fonts, and Adobe receives the standard technical information any font server receives, such as your IP address. The map on our contact page is a static image hosted by us; if you click it, you leave this site and open Google Maps, which is governed by Google's privacy policy. This site does not track visitors over time or across third-party websites, and it does not respond to Do Not Track signals because there is nothing to disable. The site is operated from the United States and is intended for United States visitors.
Retention
Emails generated by the site's forms are kept in our business mailbox for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations. Server access logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information described in this policy. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your privacy rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we process your personal information, to access it, correct it, delete it, or provide a portable copy, and you may opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling (none of which we engage in). Email info@cheetahtrucking.com or call (281) 388-2300. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within 45 days.
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing info@cheetahtrucking.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal". We will respond to appeals in writing within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at consumercomplaints.oag.texas.gov.
This site is a business service and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
